Question:
I study a lot about tetracycline side effect and but now I found a different side effects which is infertility.
Please clear my confusion does tetracycline cause in fertility..?
You are right because,
A high dose of oral tetracycline has also shown toxic effects that affect many parts of the human body, including the liver and kidneys. Administration of tetracycline also showed a significant decline in sperm count, sperm motility, normal morphology percent, and live sperm percent. A 2013 study in mice founds that exposure to these antibiotics during puberty was linked to changes in the testes that affected sperm quality.
